Well it doesn't feel like spring! At the moment it is -35 degrees. Brrr..... The photo attached is from yesterday (Sunday) from the train line in the city where we get on. On Friday, the roads had melted and we could see grass... but alas it wasn't for long. The snow fell heavily Saturday night and poor Shan looked out the window, wondering how we was going to cope on the slippery roads.
But the snow wasn't the problem. On Sunday, what should have taken a 45 minute round trip, took us 2 hours. We kept getting lost on the freeways. I though Shan was going to throw out the GPS, because it kept taking us home when we were trying to get to another destination FROM our home. But it just so happened when we were getting off the beaten track we had to go back to where we started to get onto the freeway. But we got there in the end.
On his way to work this morning, I had accidentally managed to mute his GPS - and he still managed to get to work!
Shan is doing a great job driving in the snow AND on the other side of the road. Although it is funny when he uses the windscreen wipers instead of the indicator.
