Fort Calgary was our first "tourist" adventure. We caught the LRT as far as we could for free and walked the rest. It was a little scary, walking past the homeless shelter - it just isn't something that is in your face in Australia, like it is here. And I don't think it is something you get used to.
We got to Fort Calgary with our coupons and went on inside. We were pretty much the only people there, besides a children's birthday party. It wasn't a bad thing - as we got the place to ourselves.
To be honest, we didn't read a lot of the material provided - we just looked around and played dress-ups! I didn't really learn anything, as I can't remember anything educational at all - but we got a good picture of Shannon here!
